Exotic Generation is an international franchise competition of exotic pole dance, the founder is Tatiana Marsheva. The Malta edition is produced and organised by Naomi and her team.

Event Dates

  • Stage Rehearsals: Thursday 17th September, 26

  • Final Competition: Friday 18th & Saturday 19th Sep, 26

Pricing

  • Solo: €150 (€30 application + €120 finalist fee)

  • Doubles: €245 (€30 application + €115 finalist fee per person)

  • Groups: (€25 application + €100 finalist fee per person) 

  • Finalist Fee Includes: access to the two-day event.

General Rules

  • Participants must be 18 years or older and medically fit to take part in the competition.

  • All participants must comply with competition rules and follow instructions given by the organisers and staff at all times.

  • Drug and alcohol use is strictly prohibited during the event.

  • Locker rooms and backstage areas are restricted to authorised persons only.

  • Participants may withdraw for medical reasons; however, all fees are non-refundable. 

  • Any disagreement must be handled with calm, civil, and respectful behaviour, during and after the event.

  • Any breach of rules or misconduct may result in immediate disqualification.

  • Disrespectful, aggressive, or insulting behaviour toward organisers, staff, judges, or fellow competitors will result in disqualification.

  • Performances must follow the official running order to avoid delays.

  • By paying the participation fee, participants consent to photography and video recording and agree to the publication of their performances for promotional purposes.

Backstage & Access Rules

  • The finalist fee includes access to the full two-day event (18–19 September).

  • Finalists may watch the competition at any time from the audience.

  • Backstage access is permitted only 1 hour before the athlete’s performance.

  • After performing, finalists must return to the audience area.

  • Coaches and human props must purchase a ticket to enter backstage areas.

Costume & Appearance

  • Costumes must be clean, well-fitted, and appropriate.

  • Advertisements, spikes, sharp objects and nudity are strictly prohibited and may result in disqualification.

  • Exotic shoes are mandatory for this competition

  • Stage-appropriate make-up, hairstyling, and accessories are required.

Video Submission (Qualification Round)

  • All applicants must submit a 90-second unedited video via the online application form.

  • The choreography may be different from the final routine; however, the style must match the category applied for
    (e.g. Hard Style category requires a Hard Style video).

  • Multiple category entries are allowed. Each entry requires a separate application and participation fee.

  • For Doubles and Group categories, each participant must apply individually and include the same stage name in the form.

  • Edited videos are not accepted.

  • Video must be in exotic shoes. 

Music Rules

  • Music must be uploaded in MP3 format.

  • Finals music duration limits:
    - Amateur: 2:30
    - Semi-Pro: 3:00
    - Professional: 3:30

  • - Stars: 4:00

  • Men: 3:00 

  • Doubles: 3:30

  • Finalists must upload music using the music submission form sent by email after selection.

Stage Rehearsals

  • Stage rehearsals will take place on Friday 17th September.

  • Rehearsal times will be communicated closer to the event date.

  • Finalists must attend their allocated rehearsal slot. Late arrivals may lose their rehearsal time

  • Each competitor will have 5 minutes on stage to: Mark key moves & positions, Confirm your music and lights, Test props and Do a short sound check (Full routine run-throughs will not be possible. You may use headphones to run your routine on your own.)

Judging & Competition Integrity

  • Every athlete has the right to be judged correctly, fairly, and impartially, in accordance with the official rules and judging criteria.

  • Judges are not required to explain or justify the scores they award.

  • Participants may not contact members of the jury before or during the competition.

  • All athletes will receive their judging sheets within 30 days after the competition.

Additional Rules

  • Lotions, creams, bronzers, oils, wax-based or sticky grip products are prohibited.

  • Fire, pyrotechnics, and explicit sexual content are not allowed.

  • Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.

  • Participants must have personal insurance. The organisers are not liable for injuries.

  • Stage props and assistants are allowed if safe and professionally presented.

Exotic Flow Style

Exotic Pole Flow is centered around seamless movement, incorporating fluid transitions, body spirals, and slides that create the illusion of an endless, uninterrupted flow. This style is also characterised by intricate legwork and floor-based techniques, emphasizing grace and continuous motion.

Exotic Old School Style

Inspired by the classic roots of erotic dance, cabaret, and burlesque, Exotic Old School focuses on sensual expression and emotional depth. This style requires dancers to embody powerful storytelling and captivating stage presence, staying true to the essence of traditional exotic dance.

Exotic Hard Style

Exotic Hard Style is a dynamic and physically demanding category that prioritize pole tricks and floor work as the core elements of the performance. Whether fast-paced or slow, the routine must showcase technical skill, strength, and musicality, making it a true display of athletic artistry.

Exotic Theatre

A highly creative category that focuses on thematic storytelling, set design, and dramatic presentation. Performances in this category must incorporate strong visuals, compelling narratives, props, and stage decorations, while being executed in any Exotic Pole Dance style.

Exotic Men

Exotic Pole Men can compete in this category, performing in any style - Flow, Hard, or Old School - but must wear high-heeled shoes. If there are enough participants, the men's division may be further split into Flow, Hard, and Old School styles.

This category welcomes duet performances in any Exotic Pole Dance style, featuring synchronised choreography, dynamic partner work, and intricate trick combinations designed to highlight the connection between the performers.

Exotic Show Group

Open to groups of three or more dancers, this category allows for creative storytelling, synchronised choreography, and impressive group trick combinations in any Exotic Pole Dance style.
